Planet Now!
Conversations in Environmental Studies

This series is organized by the Center for Environmental Studies and the Environmental Studies curriculum, with generous support from the School of Humanities, the School of Architecture, the Humanities Research Center, the Mellon Foundation through the Diluvial Houston grant, and the Department of Modern and Classical Literatures and Cultures.

Never has there been a more important time to understand the worlds in which we live and the living systems of which we are a part. The sheer scope and scale of environmental dilemmas require robust conversations across disciplines. Planet Now! stages urgent conversations about critical issues in a webinar format designed to support research and teaching in and beyond the Rice community and to encourage a broad audience for invigorating dialogues across disciplines.
